About your trademark
Isn't registration with the IPI enough?
No. Registration with the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI) secures your right – but the office does not monitor whether similar trademarks are filed later. That responsibility lies with you as the owner.
Do I really have to monitor my trademark myself?
Yes. If you don't react in time to confusingly similar new filings, your trademark right can be weakened and you may later only be able to enforce it in court. Ongoing monitoring protects against this.
Do I already need this as a startup?
Precisely then. Young trademarks are often copied or imitated with slight variations. Those who monitor early can avoid conflicts before they become costly – and with us it starts for free.
What does monitoring cost?
Free is free of charge (monthly check, exact match). Pro costs CHF 15/month (weekly, all types of examination and notification channels, API included). Enterprise on request.
How quickly am I notified?
As soon as our system detects a relevant filing during a check, you are informed via your chosen channels – by email and, depending on the plan, also via SMS, Slack, Telegram or webhook.
