Yes. Free monitors your word mark on an ongoing basis (monthly) for exact matches – free, no credit card, no time limit.
What is the difference between basic protection and Pro?
Basic protection (Free) detects identical new filings. Pro checks weekly and additionally detects phonetic, conceptual and structural similarity – the most frequent conflicts.
Isn't registration with the IPI enough?
Registration secures your right but does not monitor it. You have to spot new similar filings yourself – which is exactly what we take care of.
Is this a one-off check?
No. It is permanent monitoring: we continuously check new filings, not just once.
What happens if you find a hit?
You receive an alert straight away with all the details of the hit. This lets you decide, within the three-month opposition period, whether to react yourself or bring in a lawyer specialised in trademark law.
Which trademarks do you monitor – only word marks?
We monitor new filings of word marks in the Swiss trademark register. Purely figurative marks and logos are not yet part of the automated monitoring.
